Waves Boat & Social Club is locally-owned and operated business that specializes in Sarasota & Bradenton’s waterways. As a Waves member, you have the unlimited use of a fleet of spotless boats, a variety of locations and exciting social events. Plus, when you join Waves Boat Club, we provide training complete with a captain, boat driving instructions, map reading, safety procedures and more. With 20 years in the boat club business, we boast as the area’s best resource for boaters to go fishing, meet new people, to learn how to navigate to restaurants, places of interest, and more.
It’s as simple as this: When you arrive at the club for one of many days of great boating we offer a “concierge” type service, happily assisting you and your party onto your clean and ready boat. Once you return from your day on the water you simply walk away to enjoy the rest of your day and we look after the rest. Another advantage of being a Waves member are our popular social events. Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for years, there are events to suit every age & need, such as fishing clinics, beach parties, sight seeing tours, sunset cruises, dolphin sightseeing and more!
Because Waves Boat & Social Club is not a franchise or a corporation, our boats are available for your use only and we have more flexibility to suit your boating needs. We work with you to provide the personalized service you deserve, affordable rates (we don’t answer to shareholder’s and run debt free), and have the best locations in the area. At Waves you are a member of our family not a number.
Why join a boat club?
Boat Clubs are the modern alternative to buying a boat. Golfers (and tennis players) learned long ago that you don’t buy the course you join a club. Boats are no different. They are not an investment and lose value the day you purchase them. Boats depreciate, break down, are extremely expensive to purchase and even more to repair, maintain and store not to mention the work to keep them looking and running good. The initial purchase of the boat is only the first of thousands of dollars spent. One of the first mistakes new boat owners often make is they buy a boat, take an in-class course, and off they go. Unfortunately, they haven’t had any boat driving or local area instruction, and they wind up damaging their new boat. This can be a very expensive learning experience.
The saying “the best 2 days of a boater’s life is the day they buy the boat and the day they sell the boat” still hold true. However, there is a now a 3rd best day; the day you join Waves Boat & Social Club!
